It kinda looks like the slope is set to -6 db per octave. It’s the default setting in pro q 2 and it gives a relationship that looks like the first graph. They do this because it represents the volume of frequencies your ears hear, since our ears are more sensitive to 3-4K hertz range. It usually gives a rounded shape under 1khz with the mids scooping a bit and a flatter definition to the higher mids and highs.


It's 4.5dbfs/octave, and it's based off our perceived loudness. Its flattened to counteract the appearance of low end energy, since it takes a lot of power to push a 50hz tone to equal loudness as a 500hz tone.
