Hey guys!
Got a track I’m doing with a vocalist atm, have about 20 takes to play with (main, sides, harmonies etc).
I haven’t had much experience working with raw studio recorded vocal material outside of one or two vocal stems, so was wondering if anyone had any pointers in this area? Maybe reverb on the side takes or something along that line that’s abit more obscure than the usual kinda stuff?
Thanks in advance 🤙

Vocals are my forté. I've been working on my own for about three years. So here are my thoughts. Hopefully they'll help. This is my process.
Somethings that I enjoy. Heavily High Passed or Low Passed Delay ... so you just get a section of the delay playing. Building up layers to eventually drop down to a single voice of the vocal. I have Zynaptic Morph 2 ... there's loads fun you can have with that with vocals.
And good luck.
For me it's all about exploring, experimenting, staying loose and having fun with vocals.
