Not surprising, the mystery company is probably some kind of money laundering scheme.
I highly recommend Misha Glenny's book "McMafia" if you want to learn more about this:
And here is a short video where he talks about Dubai:
Sad she gave her life for some of this journalism and its hardly noticed
And don't forget the Maltese redditors (or paid trolls?) who bashed the journalist and people pointing out the level of corruption in Malta. Basically they and some Maltese media suggested that "she had it coming" because supposedly she wrote many negative pieces about celebrities and politicians.
A fucking. Car. Bomb.
Not surprising really. Real journalism is literally dying and being replaced by corporate propaganda or “bread and circus” type of entertainment masked as journalism, you wouldn’t believe whats number 5!
This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 96%. (I'm a bot)
VALLETTA/DUBAI, - In February 2017, the Maltese investigative journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia wrote in her blog about a mystery company in Dubai called 17 Black Limited.
The documents stated that when 17 Black opened an account in June 2015 at Noor Bank in Dubai, the company declared it was 100 percent owned by a Maltese citizen called Yorgen Fenech.
Siemens declined to comment on whether Fenech owned 17 Black, or about Mizzi and Schembri's potential business connection, saying "Siemens is not in a business relationship with the company." SOCAR Trading, the subsidiary of SOCAR involved in the power station project, said it "Has no knowledge of the company 17 Black."

This is a company registered in Malta with offices in Dubai. Did you even read the article? You just named three random people who have nothing to do with the company in question.
The article is about Dubai and Malta, though. Not the United Kingdom. These 2 companies probably have nothing to do with 17 Black Group Limited in Malta/Dubai.
The majority of companies formed are sketchy, and chances are, you have never heard of them.
If you browsed through the panama papers, you'll have an idea of how complicated the network is.

If you were gonna run a suspicious company, why would you give it such a suspicious name lol?
