Ok. So. The last fifty times this has been reposted has given me this information: hes looking at the judge. Who had already signaled the jump as clear before the pole fell. So he got points for this. Hes referencing the judge, not the pole.
Source: am constantly on reddit
You’re actually a hero
But I’m an angry toxic redditor so I demand the ACTUAL truth.
Can confirm, same source
he looks like olympics Jaime Lannister
All he had to do was get off the mat before it fell, idiot!
I'm confused. So, it's OK if he hits it if he gets off the mat? Does it cost points? What if he hits it?
EXPLAIN THIS TO ME!!! I NEED TO NOE!!!!!
White flag went up. It was a good jump. Mat has nothing to do with it.
There are no points in high jump. Either you get over or you don’t. If you miss three attempts in a row you are eliminated.
You can make contact with the bar and it can be shaking, wobbling but as long as your off the mat with both feet on the ground before it falls off the standards it still counts!
Well, yes, but only if you’re in high school. The rules have a bit more finesse in the real world, and this guy’s still fine
The best method would surely be to jump over the bar and miss the mat entirely?
Not true. Once the official puts up the white flag in the background, it’s a make. That’s why he points at the official with that smug look. He’s saying “well you said it counts” basically.
This is a myth, there's no rule about getting off the mat. It's all dependant on the official's judgement. If they think the bar has stayed long enough they will put up the white flag, making it a good jump. If it falls off after that there's no difference as the call has already been made.
He looks confident inside, what is this?
His face has that Chandler Bing expression.
He looks like Novak djokovic
We need s Yoda in the background moving the pole.
Did he kick the post? If it hadn't cut the shot we could have seen what happened.
He was nowhere near the post. He was getting his balance. Those mats are really hard to stand on and everyone has their own technique.
Vhat kind of dog is dis?
I think people believe they will win something if they make it known that theyve seen something on the internet more than once. STFU.
Yeah dude u bumped the bar and it fell down, we all saw it
Yea but the judge already ruled it as clear but then ruled it as not clear
