I'll be the counter voice here and say that I'm actually somewhat excited about this bundle. I have young kids and I'm always on the hunt for simple style arcade games that I can play with them. Not everything has to be a Triple-A title with 100 hours of open-world gameplay and an in-depth plot. Honestly, that sort of thing wears me down.
I miss the simpler times of Nintendo games that you could throw in and play for a few hours with some friends and then leave without having invested a great deal.
In it with you on this one, rare as I've been skipping the weekly bundles almost for a year or two. But this one works, as it has a couple that are just right for the kid
Jumping on that bandwagon - I love simple arcade games. I have the most fun with them, pick up and play and just not think about it. Granted, I love some in depth games but to see some just fun games not worrying about stats or optimal loadouts or other crap is nice.
Most of these games seem like they should be in the $1 tier. See you guys next week.
See you next week.
I used to love playing crashlands on mobile, is the steam version different? The rest isn't for me though, so i'll skip
It's the same I believe, but you can continue playing across multiple devices which is really nice
Wow never expected humble to pull off a meme by actually putting '12 is better than 6' in a $12 tier of the bundle. It's just sad to see humble go down like this, pretty mediocre bundle if you ask me.
When even was the last good bundle that wasn't a monthly?
Broke: Humble GameMaker Bundle
Woke: Humble Great GameMaker Bundle
Super Woke: Humble Ultra GameMaker Bundle
But in all seriousness, the only games that stand out to me here are CSD2 (haven’t even finished the first one) and Rivals of Aether (too busy with Smash). Hard to say whether I’ll buy in.
Haven't played the first one. But the second one is pretty cool tbh. Got it for like $6.50 from steam last year but this one is DRM-Free apparently.
Crashland is pretty fun and you can port your save between phone and pc.
Kingsway looks interesting just for the novelty, but I'd rather just buy that individually at one point if it stays on my radar.
Kingsway is very fun imo. But I got it for no additional cost with twitch prime. I'd consider paying for it in the future just to have it on steam but I've got a lot of playtime out of it :)
See you next week.
As for this bundle. I mean I'd probably recommend CSD and CSD 2, the top tier has some games in my library but I haven't played them (Which is more an sign they couldn't excite me than the fact I have too many games, which I do). Overall I'm not a huge fan of Gamemaker, but if there's something interesting, there should be quite a few games you can check out here.
any idea if cook serve delicious can be played A: with steam link and B: with controllers? Might pick this up to play with my roommate to hold us over until we get overcooked 2. thanks
I mean 12 is better than 6 is a good game but is it worth it to put them as the highest tier...?
I wanted Kingsway, but that BTA is too high up. :/
There's some other interesting games here. I've heard good things about Kuso, Crashlands and Cook, Serve, Delicious.
I actually thing that this bundle is worth it.
Is any tier worth buying it?
