Lmao what is getting heighmogged? Are they implying that women only wear heels to make men feel small? Or that women have to show off their height next to short dudes to make them feel bad? Cause I’m almost 100% sure that a lot of tall girls hate being tall, and that we wear heels because they make our legs look nice.
Best that I can figure, -mogged means someone's better than you in that aspect.
So hightmogged means she's taller, looksmogged means someone is better looking, etc.
I'd really like to know where they come up with all these slang terms. Its interesting.
AMOG: Alpha Male of the Group
To mog: to demonstrate your alphaness
OP feels emasculated by tall women, and projects those feelings onto the baseball player.
gods i want to read the linguistic resurch on incel language use.
I genuinely wonder sometimes if the amount of lingo they've invented will ever be studied like that. Queer community language is at the collegiate and graduate levels, and the LGBTQ community had similar (albeit more justified) reasons to create their/our own terms.
Honestly at this point its one of my backup plans if i do for my PHD, it will be painful to complete but someone aught to do it. Of course my first choice would be something with the LGBTQ lingo, we came up with enbie and that's the best word.
Ah ok, thanks!!
It refers to a guy being shorter than chad/stacey; specifically, they use it to assign blame to the tall person simply for being tall and making them feel subhuman.
It's kind of ironic how a group of people who claim to be lambasted simply because of physical characteristics they can't control are so willing to blame people for physical characteristics they can't control.
Nail on the head, bro
Lmao what is getting heighmogged?
Ready for some goddamn stupidity?
Being insecure about being in the presence of another man who is cooler, taller, more outgoing, smarter, or who possesses any other qualities that you perceive to be somehow "superior," means that he's either subconsciously or deliberately trying to "out-Alpha-male" you; he's showing off and asserting himself as Alpha Male of the Group. Pick-up circles, redpill weirdos, and the manosphere in general shorthanded this as an AMOG. Some guy is AMOGging you.
I assume this just means the one getting AMOGged is actually projecting his insecurities, and imagining that this other guy who is just having fun and being himself is somehow trying to aggress them.
Anyway, I assume that AMOG got turned into "mogging" and then that got applied to everything from height to fingernail width, because why not just go full-in on the idiocy?
They think that all men are as paranoid about their height as they are.
I think they are implying hyperbolically that some are much more. less likely to date men that are shorter than them. Which is correct.
But... she didn’t win the game! So did he baseball-mog her?
See, when you compare yourself to the accomplishments or attributes of others, there’s this tendency to downplay your own. And if your mood worsens because someone is taller than you after a huge personal accomplishment... you need to think about what that says about you and mental stability.
Must I say it again
In Moulin Rouge, Ewan McGregor was shorter than his costar Nicole Kidman, and yet that movie spurred adolescent fantasies that still effect me to this day—as evidenced by the fact that I bring this up every damn time there’s a post here about height.
Don’t you understand? It was cute that he was shorter than her! It wasn’t something to look past, it was something that made him more magnetic.
Being shorter than someone is not the end of the world.
They'll never accomplish even a fraction of a teeny tiny amount of something so great, so they have to think of some way to project themselves onto him.
Because high heels aren't a thing, right?
I'd say hitting a game winner is a victory in any book but shit, the fuck do I know, I'm not insane.
Btw does anyone know who that guy is?
That’s Michael Chavis, 3rd baseman for the Boston Red Sox. Their official roster lists his height as 5’10” though, so y’know its pretty much over for him.
Damn she’s tall.
Combine that with the millions of dollars from his contract and I just don’t know how the poor guy will survive lol
Imagine hitting a gamewinner and feeling like it's worthless, because some woman is taller than you.
I know a 6ft tall woman and the average man here is something like 5'9". Apparently she just ruins lives by walking down the street.
TLDR: incel discovers some women are taller than some men.
Lol I'm pretty sure the guy couldn't care less about this, because he's not some overly insecure incel who cries over being maybe 2 inches shorter.
That is some powerful projection, even for an incel.
lol, this is hilarious.
